Mr Gautham Ullas
Mr Ullas is dual trained in Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery. This gives him a strong appreciation of the interplay of the functional and aesthetic elements of the head and neck area.
From early in his training he showed an interest and aptitude for rhinoplasty. Both the aesthetics as well as the function and structure of the nose. Following this, he built extensive skills in rhinoplasty, septorhinoplasty and septal perforation closure during his international fellowship. Septal perforation closure is a specialist area with Mr Ullas achieving >90% successful closure rate. He can also rebuild the nasal septum and correct any deformity of the external nose at the same time.
His strongest passion is treating patients with paralysis of the facial nerve and its consequences. There is always a way to help patients with facial nerve palsy or unwanted movements (synkinesis). Patients are often left with limited information after getting this diagnosis. However, Mr Ullas offers comprehensive care. He frequently engages with world renowned experts to be ever pushing the standards in the UK higher.
Another aspect of his fellowship was facial rejuvenation. He is trained in the best and most modern surgical techniques in this field. He is one of the few surgeons in the UK offering extended preservation deep plane facelifts. This modern deep plane facelift technique, are advanced procedures designed to enhance natural beauty and provide long-lasting results. It also recovers faster.
Scar reduction/revision is an increasingly requested aesthetic procedure. Accidental scars of the face are often obvious and frequently have a functional element due to distortion of important structures like the lips and eyelids. Mr Ullas, has comprehensive experience in surgical scar reduction techniques.
Prof Ullas Raghavan
Prof Raghavan has more than 37 years experience and is a well known figure in Facial Plastic Surgery. He is dual trained and triple board certified.
He has pioneered work in the nasal valve collapse treatment. Septal perforation closure is something Prof Raghavan provides at a tertiary level with many patients travelling from all over the country and internationally.
He offers the full range of facial rejuvenation techniques and is an early adopter of the preservation deep plane facelift. As such has become a leading provider of this technique in in the UK.
