Upper Blepharoplasty

Blepharoplasty, commonly known as eyelid surgery, is a cosmetic procedure designed to enhance the appearance of the eyelids. For the upper eyelids, the surgery typically involves removing excess skin fat, and muscle, which can help to reduce drooping, improve vision and create a more youthful look. The scar is hidden in the natural upper eyelid crease and is barely visible.  This procedure can significantly rejuvenate the eyes, resulting in a refreshed and alert appearance. It is often combined with a browlift as the brow getting is often the cause for some the excess skin in the upper eyelid.

Lower Blepharoplasty

A lower blepharoplasty addresses puffiness, excess skin and the "tear trough." We do this procedure through the inside of the eyelid (transconjunctival), which does not leave a visible scar and is the most modern method. Once inside we can trim and reposition the fat to make the junction from the lower eyelid to the cheek smoother and eliminating the "tear trough." Sometimes combined with a midface lift.

Brow and Midface Lifting

The browlift can be done in many different ways to lift up the eyebrow to its normal position.  It is often combined with the upper blepharoplasty to give the maximum benefit. It often also improves the strained/tension feeling across the forehead from the overuse of the forehead muscles (frontalis) to help open the eyes.

A midface lift is sometimes considered with a lower blepharoplasty to enhance the cheek position and smoothen out the division between the lower lid and mid face. This is sometimes needed to fully address the tear trough.
